My Bio
General boring stuff really, I like scribbling, photography and poetry so just need somewhere to be creative. I have a daughter and like to kick back and edit photos in my free time (which isn't much!!)
My weapons of choice at the moment are:
My Sony HX200v bridge camera, I love it, it's my 4th bridge camera now and it's just so easy to use.
My Sony Alpha a200 DSLR. This is my new camera, well not actually new as I bought it second hand but it was cheap and it's also fantastic and takes lovely pics. I've got a standard Sony 18 - 70 mm lense and a tamron 100-300 telemacro .
I'm only a hobby photographer, I certainly don't think I could do it professionally but I hope that everyone enjoys my pics which are mainly nature and outdoors with a few cheeky ones of my little girl and other odds and ends thrown in.

2 weeks ago I went on holiday to Cornwall, the drive home was a nightmare so we detoured to Plymouth (one of my favourite places) and while there I had a moment of spending madness and bought myself a secondhand Sony A58 DSLR!
I loved my old A200 but I can take videos as well on this one so I am very happy.
Luckily mum has decided she wants my old Sony so it's staying in the family.
I've been out and I'm now mastering the new camera and I am very pleased with the results so far.
Watch this space as I may get snap-happy

Loving the Easter Holiday

What bliss, got my little girl home with me for 2 whole weeks and been out and about taking loads of pics.
Mostly had my DSLR out but today I decided to take my bridge out, just for a change though I think that I definitely prefer my DSLR.
Right time to start dinner and have a chill out.

well i've been away for a while, just been busy.
But I've got myself a second-hand sony DSLR and I'm trying to get to grips with it.
Time to shop for lenses and filter.
